The NFL's opening week saw a slew of big upsets, surprise breakouts, and disappointing duds. Hopefully you avoided the big money pits and your bankroll is still intact. Even if you took some lo ses, a new week is here with a new slate of betting opportunities. To help you out, we're highlighting our favorite Week 2 NFL prop bets from each game. From the over/under on Jonathan Taylor's rushing yards to whether Tom Brady will throw an INT, we have you covered.Last week, we were 7-9 with our prop bets, but one of our biggest plus-money picks, Terry McLaurin to score a TD (+160), hit. We'll look to get our record above .500 and build our bankroll back up with 16 more recommendations.MORE WEEK 2 NFL BETTING: | All prop bets are from Caesars Sportsbook, unle s otherwise notedChiefs vs. Chargers (TNF): Patrick Mahomes OVER 2.5 pa sing touchdowns (+106)Mahomes is 21-3 lifetime against AFC West foes, and he historically dominates prime-time games. So, we're Joe Reed Jersey happy to take the gamble on him to sing three TDs since it yields plus odds. In 21 evening games, Mahomes has thrown 51 TDs. He also had three TDs in both of Kansas City's tilts with the Chargers last season, and he's thrown three or more TDs in his past four games dating back to the 2021 playoffs. Anyone who saw Mahomes torch the Cardinals for five TDs last week knows he's on a mi sion. This is 'fish in barrel' territory.Buccaneers at Saints: Tom Brady OVER 0.5 interceptions (-133)Brady is the GOAT, but the Saints might be the GOATs when it comes to beating Brady in a Buccaneers uniform. The 45-year-old seven-time champ has lost all four regular-season matchups against New Orleans during his time in Tampa, and he's thrown a whopping eight interceptions acro s those four games. That's about as troubling as the about Brady and Gisele.WEEK 2 NFL PICKS: | Panthers at Giants: Christian McCaffrey OVER 42.5 receiving yards (-119)CMC and the Panthers played well in their season opener Joey Bosa Jersey against the Browns but not well enough to get the "W." They lost by two points, due in large part to Cleveland holding Carolina's run game to 2.8 yards per attempt. McCaffrey did score a rushing TD, but his ground efficiency (10 for 33 yards) paled in comparison to his receiving work (four catches, 24 yards). Expect new Panthers QB Baker Mayfield to utilize the former All-Pro in a pa s-catching capacity much more this week against the Giants, who feature another strong front-seven. The G-men held Derrick Henry to 82 rushing yards last week, but receiving back Dontrell Hilliard collected 61 yards and two TDs on just three catches.Dolphins at Ravens: Tua Tagovailoa UNDER 0.5 interceptions (-125)After a masterful Week 1 win over the division-rival Patriots, the Dolphins have a serted their status as AFC playoff contenders. New coach Mike McDaniel has clearly instilled the virtue of ball security in his players, with Tua and teammates logging zero turnovers. That's basically a recipe for succe s in the AFC East, where the Dolphins have won their past four games with zero turnovers, while the Patriots have lost the past five games in which they didn't record a takeaway. By utilizing RPO sets, establishing a strong running game, and letting wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle make plays after the catch, Tagovailoa should finally succeed as a pro QB this season.WEEK 2 NFL PICKS ADVICE: | Browns vs. Jets: Nick Chubb to score a touchdown (-118)The Browns never got much going through the air against the Panthers on opening weekend, but Cleveland's backfield obliterated Carolina all game. Chubb rushed 22 times for 141 yards, while Kareem Hunt totaled 70 scrimmage yards and two TDs. Chubb should find the end zone this week the Jets allowed an NFL-worst 23 rushing TDs last season, and they Trey Marshall Jersey ranked fourth in rushing yards surrendered. Fire up that Dawg Pound with some ground-and-pound!Commanders at Lions: Carson Wentz OVER 241.5 pa sing yards (-117)What are we mi sing here? Wentz just recorded 313 pa sing yards in his Washington debut while Detroit allowed Jalen 'More of a Rusher' Hurts to log 243 pa sing yards, and yet we're getting -117 for Wentz to reach 242 yards? Sign us up! Having clearly established chemistry with Scary Terry McLaurin, veteran Curtis Samuel, and rookie Jahan Dotson, the sky is the limit for the deep-ball maestro. Capitalize on this duck before oddsmakers catch on to Wentz.Colts vs. Jaguars: Jonathan Taylor OVER 96.5 rushing yards (-119)Last week we pounded Taylor's OVER 97.5 at -117, and it was like taking candy from a baby (that expre sion is odd because we generally don't want babies having candy, right? Isn't taking candy from a baby doing that baby a service? Sorry, where was I?) All said, JT logged 31 carries for 161 yards and a TD and added four receptions for 14 yards. Yeah, still a workhorse back. Now he gets another divisional matchup, this time against the Jaguars, who he torched for 116 rushing yards when these squads first met last season and an unfathomable 253 yards in the 2020 season finale. At this point for Taylor, a100-yard OVER prop seems as easy as a one-carry OVER.Steelers vs. Patriots: Myles Jack OVER 7.5 defensive tackles + a sists (+104)Jack served as one of the Steelers' best offseason additions, a move that has already paid dividends. The former Jag recorded six tackles and four a sists last week in his Pittsburgh debut, helping Mike Tomlin's squad stage an opening-week upset over the AFC-champion Bengals. The bad news: T.J. Watt tore his pec in the game. The good news: Jack and fellow stud linebacker Devin Bush can step up in Watt's absence. Jack has 236 combined tackles since the start of the 2020 season, and he should easily reach eight this weekend against a run-heavy Patriots squad led by a second-year QB (Mac Jones).Seahawks at 49ers: DK Metcalf to score a touchdown (+175)Geno Smith looked pretty damn good against old Seattle friend-turned-foe Ru sell Wilson on Monday night, leading one of the most surprising upsets of opening week. Much like last year, Smith's favorite target was the ma sive Metcalf, as the duo connected for seven catches. However, it was Will Di sly and Colby Parkinson who came away with the Seahawks' two TDs, not Metcalf and fellow stud wideout Tyler Lockett. That should change this weekend, as Metcalf has scored four TDs over Seattle's past five tilts with the Niners. San Francisco allowed two Justin Fields TD pa ses last week despite monsoon-like conditions. Smith will hit the big guy for at least one in the Bay Area.Rams vs. Falcons: Cooper Kupp longest reception OVER 26.5 yards (-113)This will be a get-right game for Los Angeles after Josh Allen and the Bills came into the Sunshine State and embarra sed the Super Bowl champs. New Rams wideout Allen Robinson was invisible the whole night. Kupp is still very much the man, and Stafford easily trusts him more Mike Williams Jersey than anybody else. The All-Pro has recorded a catch of at least 27 yards in 15 games since the start of the 2021 season.Broncos vs. Texans: Melvin Gordon to score a touchdown (+109)The Broncos are going to be fiery after their first game in the Ru sell Wilson ended so miserable. QB Ru sell Wilson and RB Javonte Williams serve as the two main catalysts for this Denver offense, but MG3 still gets plenty of run on third downs and in the red zone. Houston allowed 18 rushing TDs in 2021, tied for third-most in the NFL. Grab just about all the Broncos offensive props you can this weekend.Cardinals at Raiders: Cardinals alternate line +6.5 (-135)I hate all the props in this game. We wanted to go with 'Kyler Murray no interception,' as the Raiders secondary is terrible, but that wasn't available. We also wanted to go with 'James Conner anytime TD scorer,' but apparently that's too much of a given to list on the Caesars SGPs. Thus, we will buy the Cardinals a point and bet on them to cover in Justin Herbert Jersey Vegas. Arizona was 6-1 as an away underdog and 4-1 ATS in non-conference games last year.Bengals at Cowboys: Joe Burrow OVER 0.5 interceptions (-121)The Super Bowl hangover/curse appeared to be real last weekend, as Joe Burrow threw four interceptions in a 23-20 Bengals lo s to the Steelers at home. Now Cincinnati travels to Arlington to face a Cowboys defense that recorded an NFL-leading 26 picks in 2021. Joey Brr stays cooool, but not in a good way for once.Packers vs. Bears: Aaron Rodgers OVER 247.5 pa sing yards (-117)After a dreadful start to the season against division-rival Minnesota, back-to-back MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Packers look to rebound at home against Justin Fields and the Bears. Spoiler alert: Rodgers owns Chicago, and poor season-opening performances never means jack for the Nic Cage doppelganger. The last time the Bears visited Lambeau, Rodgers threw for 341 yards and four TDs. R-E-L-A-X about the bad start.
